Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This policy explains how Voyce for Paws, a project of Be the Voyce, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 32-0760338, based in Wooster, Ohio, USA), collects and uses information when you sign up on this website, interact with our pre-launch communications, or use the Voyce for Paws app once it launches.

The short version: before launch, we collect only what we need to email you about the launch. When the app is live, we also collect the photo, location, and details you submit when you report an animal, plus your role and contact if you join the network. We never sell your data, and you can request deletion at any time.

1.What We Collect

Email address
Required — so we can send you launch updates.

Optional — for personalizing emails.
City
Optional — helps us understand where our early supporters are.
Role / interest
Optional — e.g. Foster, Vet, Donor — so we can tailor what we send you.
Consent
A record that you agreed to these terms when signing up.

We do not automatically collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or detailed analytics fingerprints during pre-launch.

When you use the app (at launch), we also collect what you submit to report an animal or to participate in the network:

Photos / videos
The images you take or upload of an animal you are reporting.

Contact (optional)
Your name, phone, or email if you choose to add them. Reporting can be anonymous.
Account & role

2.How We Use It

We use the information you provide only to:

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

3.Where Your Data Lives

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Service:

4.AI & Automated Processing

When the Voyce for Paws app launches, photos and videos you upload of animals will be processed using artificial intelligence (AI) to assist the rescue network:

We rely on trusted third-party AI services to perform this processing. We do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models, and we instruct our AI providers not to use your data to train their models, where their terms allow.

AI outputs are not medical advice. You can choose not to use AI features when the app launches; you may still report an animal manually with your own description.
